About MBM Collective
A room full of Black women with decades of expertise, achievements, and brilliance is one of the most powerful forces for creating opportunity, wealth, and change.
That’s MBM Collective.
MBM Collective is where accomplished Black women aren’t the exception. It’s where Black women are celebrated for being exceptional.
There’s no proving worth, competing for position, or scanning the room hoping to see another face that looks like yours.
The focus shifts from proving what’s already been accomplished to deciding what’s worth creating now.
After decades of achievement, the question, “What else can be accomplished?,” gives way to a different question:
“What do I want now, and how do I create it without giving up what matters to me?”
That intentionality is the MBM in MBM Collective: Mind, Body, and Money.
A clear mind, the energy and strength to build, and the financial freedom to make choices, because influence, wealth, and legacy shouldn’t come at the expense of the woman creating them.
MBM Collective is about having the ambition for more, the freedom to decide what “more” gets to look like, and being surrounded by women who make more possible for one another.
Come see for yourself.
Your first meeting is on us…
Karen Graves
Karen Graves has spent more than 25 years in sales, business growth, and entrepreneurship, generating eight figures in sales along the way. As a coach and strategist, she’s spent much of that time helping women build businesses that make good money and a good life.
These days, she’s taking that idea even further: How can business owners make more without giving more of themselves to make it? Her work explores leverage, partnerships, and opportunities hiding in plain sight.
She co-founded MBM Collective because starting anew shouldn’t mean forgetting who you already are. Accomplished Black women have receipts. MBM is a place to bring them, build from them, and decide what’s possible from here.
Karen is a wife, mother, Glamma, beach lover, Pilates Passionista, and serious foodie. After years of helping other women create success on their own terms, she’s pretty committed to doing the same.
Jo Linda Johnson
Jo Linda Johnson spent over 20 years with the Federal government, working as a civil rights attorney to serve the underserved and give voice to the voiceless and/or ignored. She left the government because of burnout and moved to the private sector…where she learned first hand that money as an organization’s primary mission did not align with her values and goals. Being of service to others and prioritizing community are where it is at for her.
With that in mind, Jo Linda co-founded the MBM Collective to create the community she could not find anywhere else. She wanted a space where Black women felt safe, valued, and supported. She tried other networking groups and walked away thinking, “These are not my people.” The MBM Collective is where she found her people.
Jo Linda makes her home in the DC area. Beyond MBM, she runs JEI Solutions LLC, a full service consultancy for small businesses. JEI provides fractional HR services, coaching, leadership training and development, and facilitation. In both businesses, Jo Linda leads with the same philosophy: Let’s win, together. Oh, and she’s always rooting for everybody Black! 😉
Kaidi "Kiki" Johnson
Kaidi “Kiki” Johnson spent over 25 years inside boardrooms most women never get invited into- leading legal and ESG strategy for a multibillion-dollar global company, and building the governance frameworks that hold institutions accountable. Along the way, she learned exactly what it costs a woman to build real influence in rooms that weren’t designed with her in mind.
She co-founded MBM Collective to make that knowledge collective because no woman should have to reinvent the wheel on influence, wealth, or legacy alone. An attorney and entrepreneur, Kiki also runs Elite on the Fly, a luxury travel and corporate events company built on firsthand experience traveling across all seven continents and 60+ countries.
At MBM, she believes focusing on one’s own Mind, Body, and Money aren’t three separate pursuits — they’re one pursuit, seen from three angles. Her role here is simple: make sure every member leaves this community more powerful than she arrived.
